After using Add-Art for a couple of weeks, I had found it to be the most interesting when I forgot about it and would try to figure out how the pictures related to the content on the web page I was viewing. So, for my project, I decided to try to extend that experience by selecting mundane images [from L. mundanus “belonging to the world”], the better to insinuate them into the context of the pages.
I made a selection of 136 images from the thousands I have shot since 2001, and placed them randomly into the 8 groups of 17 images that the software requires. They are mostly things photographed while traveling, and include images from Korea, Japan, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, England, Spain, Texas, New York, Michigan, Montana, California, and probably a few more places I am forgetting.
