Allow me to say this about this months Add-Art show:
Paige Saez and Zefrey Throwell have both spent a large amount of time in Portland, Oregon. I'm not sure what it says about the work you see here though. Obliqueness, optimistic misanthropy? Does Portland have anything to do with that? Maybe. But, to be sure, they are kind hearted folks, and they both have a lot of play within them. That goes along way, and I appreciate it.
If we were to replace the ad's that skirt through our consciousness daily with the ideas of Paige and Zefrey I feel confident that the world would be, if not a better place, fucked up in a much better way than it is now.
